lET'S TALK...

Let's Talk Kits

Let’s Talk Kits use storytelling to help families have important conversations. Packaged in an easy-to-carry tote, each kit includes a variety of books and other media to foster conversations across many ages and reading levels.

Although the books may seem like they are for specific ages, they are meant to be used for a shared experience among the different members of a family. For instance, a family may decide to focus on reading the different picture books together to promote conversations.  Maybe a child wants their guardian, parent, or grandparent to read the chapter book included.  Or the same chapter book could be used as a read-aloud together.  It is really up to you how you want to use the materials with your family.

To help you get started, a discussion guide accompanies almost every item. Adults and older children may want to preview the guides so that they can read the text with the discussion questions in mind.

Kits can be checked out for 3 weeks. Kits must be returned in person during the Bolton Public Library's operating hours and cannot be shipped to surrounding libraries.
