ABOUT US The Friends of the Bolton Public Library was founded in 1994 to raise funds that enhance library programming. The group holds an annual membership drive and a semiannual book sale. $1 million in contributions to the Friends helped to build the renovated, expanded library. |

DONATE BOOKS
The Friends are NOT taking donations AT THIS TIME! They accept gently used hardcovers and paperbacks (all reading levels), DVDs, and CDs. We do not accept VHS and cassette tapes, magazines, damaged or outdated items, moldy/mildewed items, encyclopedias, or textbooks. If you wouldn't buy an item, don't give it to us. Please throw away or recycle your unsaleable items. We simply don't have the resources to dispose of unsuitable donations. Small quantities (1-2 bags or boxes; please, no loose items!) of donations can be dropped off at the library during open hours (please, no donations in the book drop or left outside!). If you have larger quantities (more than 2 bags/boxes), contact the Friends of the Library to make alternate arrangements, or use the secure kiosk located outside the Houghton Building at 697 Main Street. It's ready to house donations 24/7. The kiosk is the work of local Eagle Scout Tyler Hopkins. Again, please do not leave donations outside where they may be damaged. The next book sale: TBA Volunteers are welcome to help--just drop a note to friends.of.boltonpl@gmail.com |
